Aerosol Characterization

NanoComposix has extensive experience processing, drying, and characterizing the physical, chemical, and optical properties of aerosolized nanomaterials.  Characterization is performed in-house using our aerosol test chamber that has been validated through comparisons with the Aerosol Science Experimental Facilities at the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center, part of the U.S. Army Research Development and Engineering Command.

Aerosols are launched via a pneumatic launch system, custom venturi pump, burst disc, nebulizer, or a MeeFog generator, and analyzed using a range of tools including visible, near-IR, and IR spectrometers, nephelometers, and SMPS and APS instruments. Click here to see a full description of our test chamber capabilities.
