NanoComposix silica coated gold nanoparticles are:

• Unagglomerated and monodisperse
• Available with gold cores ranging from 17-100 nm in diameter
• Available with silica shell thicknesses between  8-100 nm
• Available with standard and amine-terminated surface

The silica shell increases stability in a wide range of solvents and provides a versatile conjugation surface. Three sizes are available as stock products (17, 30, and 50 nm cores with 15 nm thick shells) with other sizes and shell thicknesses available on request.
