Metal Concentration Analysis with ICP-MS

Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) is a highly sensitive analytical technique used to identify and quantify elements in a sample. For nanoparticle and other material samples, ICP-MS can measure total elemental concentration, composition, and trace impurities across a wide range of elements.

At nanoComposix, we use multiple sample preparation approaches to support accurate elemental quantification across diverse sample types. These include microwave-assisted acid digestion using a CEM MARS 6 for refractory, biological, and other samples that require digestion before analysis.

Prepared samples are analyzed using an Agilent 7800 quadrupole ICP-MS equipped with an octopole reaction system to help control polyatomic interferences. Please specify the element or elements of interest when requesting analysis.
