Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) is an ultra sensitive analytical technique used to identify and quantify the elemental composition and/or concentrations of samples. ICP-MS can detect most metals and select nonmetals with sensitivity as low as ppt or ppq for certain elements.
At nanoComposix, we possess various sample preparation techniques that enable digestion and accurate elemental quantification of diverse sample types, including microwave assisted acid digestion (CEM MARS 6) for refractory and/or biological samples.
Dissolved, diluted samples are analyzed using an Agilent 7800 Q-ICP-MS, featuring an octupole reaction cell for removal of polyatomic ion interferences on certain masses. Please specify which element(s) are of interest when placing an order.
